I brought my daughter and her friend with me. They both have special needs. The young guy there, I wish I had got his name, was so patient with my daughter and took the time to work with her even though I hadn't signed her up for a lesson. My daughter wound up waiting on the dock while her friend and I went paddling (I didn't want to take up his time without being able to pay for a lesson). They say there's no one they can't teach. I believe given enough time, determination, and focus on my daughter's part, they may be right. I'll be signing her up for a private lesson soon.
